呼吸道合胞病毒(Respiratory syncytial virus,RSV)是引起婴幼儿急性下呼吸道感染的主要病原体,给全球公共卫生带来了严峻挑战。尽管RSV感染带来的疾病负担十分沉重,目前针对RSV感染的治疗和预防手段仍然相对有限,但近期的研究进展为该领域带来了新的希望。目前已有两种RSV特异性疫苗和一种单克隆抗体获得批准,同时新型抗病毒药物的研发也取得了突破,但不适用于儿童。这些成果不仅为减轻RSV感染的影响提供了新的治疗选择,也为未来的预防策略奠定了基础。然而,开发针对儿童的RSV疫苗和药物,以及提高公众对疫苗接种的认识和接受度,依然是亟待解决的问题。本文全面探讨了RSV感染的预防与治疗策略,旨在为未来RSV的防控工作提供科学依据和参考。
Abstract:Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) is a leading cause of acute lower respiratory tract infection(LRTI) in infants and young children and represents a substantial global public health burden. Despite this, available options for the prevention and treatment of RSV infection remain limited. Recent advances, however, have brought renewed momentum to the field. To date, two RSV-specific vaccines and one monoclonal antibody have been approved, and significant progress has been made in the development of novel antiviral agents, although their use in pediatric populations remains limited. These developments not only provide new therapeutic options to mitigate the clinical impact of RSV infection but also lay the foundation for improved preventive strategies. Nevertheless, the development of safe and effective vaccines and antiviral agents for children, along with improved public awareness and acceptance of vaccination, remains a critical unmet need. This review comprehensively summarizes current prevention and treatment strategies for RSV infection and aims to provide a scientific basis for future control and management efforts.
